Dog Urine Problem? - Why Your Dog May Not Be Able to Pass Urine Properly

Did you know that your dog could suffer from urinary tract infections in the same way we can? Well, it can happen and it can be just as painful for the poor dog as it is for us humans.
Here is a possible reason why your dog may be having a problem passing urine and a home remedy for the problem.
It may be that your pet is suffering from a kidney infection or a urinary tract infection.
If you notice that your dog is not passing urine frequently, or maybe not urinating at all, then it is highly likely that the poor dog is suffering from an infection.
As a caring dog owner, you will be exercising your pet regularly so you will notice if your pet seems out of sorts very quickly.
If you can spot a problem quickly, then you can start treatment right away and possibly save on expensive vet bills into the bargain.
Most people know that cranberry juice is very effective in dealing with these types of infections, but it is important to start treatment at the first signs of a problem.
Buy some cranberry juice from your local store, make sure that it is natural pure juice though, and start adding some to your dog's drinking water.
Keep a close eye on your pet for the next couple of days just to make sure that everything settles down.
If your dog still shows difficulty passing urine after three days, a visit to the vet will be needed as there could be a more serious condition causing the problem.
