- 1). Make two even loops on each side of your chosen ribbon and cross the right loop over the left loop. Use ribbon that is about 1 1/2 inches wide.
- 2). Create a knot by threading the right loop behind the left loop, then under and up through the hole. Pull the loops into a knot and adjust, as needed. The bow should be 2 to 2 1/2 inches long depending on the size of your dog. It is best to use more material than necessary and trim the ribbon as needed rather than cutting the ribbon too short initially.
- 3). Hot-glue the bow to a barrette or clip and allow to dry for five to 10 minutes. Place the bow in your dog's hair, as desired.
